STRAIGHTENING INSTRUMENT FOR DRILL OPERATORS
RIKTINSTRUMENT FOER BORRIGGARE
The Swedish company Borrteknik AB has developed a new straightening instrument for measuring the angle between the feeding girder of a drillrig and the horizontal plane. The instrument is called an accurator and the reading accuracy is said to be better than 3.2%. The reading can be done from where the drillrig is operated. The National Swedish Road Administration is testing the new instrument. /TRRL/
