POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS FOR SIMPLIFIED HANDLING OF PASSENGER TRAFFIC ON SECONDARY LINES

The paper presents forms of organization and operating methods along with technical facilities enabling railbound local passenger traffic on secondary lines to be handled with an economically justifiable result by means of modern vehicles if certain marginal conditions exist. The examples mentioned were successfully implemented or are being introduced by many non-federal railways serving public transport.
