RESEARCH INTO NOISE PRODUCED BY PASSING VEHICLES ON THE FS

INDAGINE SULLA RUMOROSITA ORIGINATA DAL TRANSITO DI ROTABILI FS

The author describes the results of research into noise caused by passing railway vehicles on the FS. It analyses both the characteristics and the intensity of the noise emitted in ordinary operating conditions. The values obtained are compared with the maximum noise levels established by the E.E.C.
