ANALYSIS OF TRANSIENT MIXTURE TRANSPORT IN INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR CARBURETED ENGINE

The transient mixture transport for carbureted engine was studied with a numerical model. The change of pressure, the transport delay of fuel and the change of air-fuel ratio in intake manifold during throttle opening were investigated. A new fuel compensation method was clarified for the constant mixture strength.
