AGEING OF FRENCH LAMINATED ELASTOMER BRIDGE BEARING PADS

VIEILLISSEMENT DES APPAREILS D'APPUI FRANCAIS EN ELASTOMERE FRETTE

Accelerated ageing tests (heating at 100 degree C in a ventilated oven) on laminated elastomer bearing pads have revealed the difference in behavior of the two French makes. This study has had immediate consequences on one of the two "Ponts et Chaussees Quality" formulae.
