RADIO COMMUNICATIONS FOR RAIL TRANSPORT AND LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
FUNK-NACHRICHTENTECHNIK FUER DEN SCHIENENVERKEHR UND DEN OEFFENTLICHEN VERKEHR
Transport undertakings require a large number of mobile radio links to transmit spoken messages and data for operation purposes. However with the technological advances made and experience gained over the last few years there are now prospects for introducing new safety applications such as integrated linear control of train running as well as the traditional traffic regulation application. More integrated radio systems will be introduced as road and rail networks become integrated at local level.
