A SUMMARY OF EVALUATIVE FINDINGS 1980 ANNUAL REPORT: VOLUME I

The CDUI Project's 1980 Annual Report was written in six volumes. The present document is the first volume in the series and it provides a summary of the evaluative findings detailed in Volumes II through VI of the Annual Report. Volumes II and III, which examine the external and internal validity of the research designs, and Volume VI, which describes the Life Activities Inventory (client follow-up protocol), are final reports on these topics. Volumes IV and V, the analytic studies concerning impact or treatment effectiveness, are interim reports. This document also presents a review of the Project's research procedures with an emphasis on the court referral-intake process and the research designs.
