DISCRETE ADDRESS BEACON SYSTEM (DABS)/AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL INTERFACE CONFIGURATION DOCUMENT. VOLUME I. DATA FORMATS FOR PHASE I

The document defines the interface data formats to be used for Phase I DABS/Intermittent Positive Control (IPC) testing and Control Message Automation (CMA) testing involving NAFEC facilities and the DABSEF. The formats are a revised version of the formats previously documented in the WP-8858 series which this document supersedes. These formats have been reviewed and accepted in working group meetings involving MITRE, Lincoln Laboratory and FAA. It is intended that this document provide the baseline for data format configuration control. This report is being prepared in three volumes. Volume II describes the DABS/En Route hardware interfaces. Volume III describes the DABS Terminal hardware interfaces.
