FORD GETS SUED OVER AIR BAG IT DIDN'T HAVE

This article relates a law suit charging the Ford Motor Company with "the design, manufacture and/or assembly" of a vehicle "in a defective condition because of the lack of structural integrity of the passenger compartment and front end (and) due to the failure... to provide and/or offer air bags as a passive restraint. The suit was settled out of court, and the evidence gathered by the plaintiff's attorney was sealed by the judge at Ford's request.
