This investigation demonstrated that it is possible to develop an endurance circuit based on objective measurements. The spectrum of triaxial c of g acceleration cycles proved to be a useful and simple parameter to represent the structural inputs to the vehicle body. This parameter has the necessary resolution to distinguish between various driving patterns. The use of microprocessor based data acquisition systems resulted in a considerable saving of time and other resources for post-processing of data.
