GAS-TURBINE TRACTION: SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS AND PROCESS

He describes S.N.C.F. experience of operating turbotrains and examines the associated economic issues. The export potential of this mode of traction to countries with metre-gauge tracks is particularly examined and details are given of turbotrains in Egypt and the U.S.A.
