ANALISI COMPARATIVA TECNICO-ECONOMICA SUI MEZZI MECCANICI DI CARICO E TRASPORTO DA IMPIEGARE IN CANTIERI DI MOVIMENTI DI TERRA

Earth moving is one of the most important factors in road construction projects, not only in relation to the execution of the engineering works, but primarily in relation to the costs of earth moving operations, in view of their significant effects on overall construction costs. This article addresses the problem of determining the hourly production and consequent relative hourly costs of a "system" of machines for earth loading and transportation, in order to establish, in terms of the type of material and the haulage distance, the best loader/transporter combination from amongst those available.
