Based on the magnitude of change that has swept Atlantic City and the results of the studies described herein, regulatory and review agencies at the State and local level concluded that in order to proceed with development in a reasonable manner, it was necessary to develop a framework for decision making. This has been done with the development of the draft parking policy which can be evaluated by the computer models that compare casino generated trips with the capacity of the street system of Atlantic City. This approach to infrastructure planning is one that should help Atlantic City meet the challenges of the future.
