NORTH CAROLINA'S PROCEDURE FOR RESOLVING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DISPUTES

This article consists of a transcript of the relevant section of the North Carolina construction connract law. In summary, a contractor may, within 60 days of receiving the final estimate, submit a claim to the State Highway Administrator who will investigate the claim and rule on it. A contractor may then appeal the decision to the Superior Court of either Wake County or the county where the work was performed.
