THEORY OF SHIP WAVE RESISTANCE FOR UNSTEADY MOTION IN STILL WATER
The linear problem of forces acting upon a slender ship in unsteady motion was studied previously. This paper presents an approximate solution to the non-linear problem of wave resistance and hydrodynamic forces for unsteady motion, starting from a static position.
