LATERAL THRUSTERS WITH ANTI-SUCTION TUNNELS
This paper presents results of lateral thruster manoeuvring qualities obtained from model tests and ship trials. Principle and effectiveness of an anti-suction tunnel AST as an aid for lateral thrusters operating at low ship speeds are explained.
