The report is a result of a literature study concerning concrete for casting under water. Methods for casting under water are briefly mentioned. Also requirements regarding the properties of the concrete in fresh as well as cured conditions are discussed. The development goes towards making concrete with a better stability than before, in order to prevent leaching. The composition of concrete for casting under water is discussed in some detail. Special emphasis is put on newer kinds of concrete containing anti-leaching agents as well as larger amounts of fines than before. With this as a basis, future developments concerning both concrete composition and casting techniques are briefly discussed. (TRRL)
