SAFER HOLIDAY MOTORING

This article outlines safety precautions to be taken before going on a driving vacation. The vehicle should be serviced a week before the vacation starts, it should be loaded carefully and contain emergency spare kits. The driver should make sure that he is properly rested before beginning the trip, he should eat light meals during the trip, take breaks and walk around every three hours and keep an adequate flow of fresh air in the car to prevent drowsiness.
