NOTES ON SOME DESIGN SIMPLIFICATIONS AND THE USE OF COMPUTERS IN THE ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF SLOPE STABILIZATION STRUCTURES ALONG A LANDSLIDE SECTION OF SS NO 303 IN BASILICATA

NOTE SU ALCUNE SEMPLIFICAZIONE DI CALCOLO E SULL'IMPIEGO DEL CALCOLATORE ELETTRONICO NELLA VERIFICA E NELLA PROGETTAZIONE DELLE OPERE DI STABILIZZAZIONE DEL PENDIO LUNGO UN TRATTO FRANATO DELLA SS N 303 IN BASILICATA

This article presents a method developed by the author for the design of the structures necessary to renewal and stabilization operations on a section of state road no 303, which was affected by landslide following seismic activity in November 1980. An analysis of the failed slope furnished the disequilibrium forces upon which were based the design of new drainage structures (surface and at depth) and static stabilization structures (anchorages and piles).
