LINEAR-PROGRAMMING MODELS FOR ASSESSING ELECTRIC-VEHICLE POTENTIAL IN AGRICULTURE

This paper presents a practical description of how linear-programming models may be used to evaluate: (1) the technical feasibility of partial substitution of electrical power units for self-propelled vehicles used in agricultural field work; (2) the economic penalties or gains incurred in such substitutions.
