AN OFFSHORE MOORING AND LOADING INSTALLATION FOR TANKERS
An offshore mooring and loading installation for tankers comprises a mushroom-type anchor resting on the sea bottom and permitting the tanker to turn freely about it; a surface structure (e.g., a buoy or turret) integral with the anchor and having flexible transfer lines attached to it; fixed pipes extending along the bottom from the anchor to the shore; and at least one connecting line between the fixed pipes and the flexible lines, one end of the line being joined to the anchor and the other to the surface structure.
