PAVEMENT FAILURES DUE TO IMPROPER DRAINAGE

This report outlines the requirements of a highway drainage system and describes the effects of defective surface and sub-surface drainage systems on flexible and rigid pavements. Examples of damages due to improper drainage are given and photographs illustrate some cases of pavement failures in the City of Bangalore. (TRRL)
