DESIGNING SOLIDS HANDLING PIPELINES
This second article of a three part series gives hydraulic data, from lab studies, on the design of homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. This part deals with the transport of clays, fine ashes, coal and finely ground minerals that, in sufficiently high concentrations, produce plastic slurries, the raw cement slurries encountered in the wet production process, drilling mud and the like.
