PROCESS BASIS AND ECONOMICS OF PIPELINE
This paper deals with some of the more important technical aspects of slurry pipelines as they apply to the mineral field, such as slurry preparation, pumping velocity and solids concentration. In addition, the use of these technical concepts in arriving at realistic economic figures for capital, operating and transportation costs are discussed.
