MARGINAL ECONOMICS APPLIED TO PIPELINE DESIGN
An equation is dervied which aids the formulation of economic pipeline design. Examples of a few basic situations for water conveying systems demonstrate how the equation can be used and modified to fit design imposed constraints. Solution of the equation is readily adapted to a digital computer.
