OPTIMUM SPACING OF LINEAR EQUIPMENT IN COMMERCIAL PETROLEUM PRODUCT PIPELINES
Shut-off valves are installed along a products pipeline at intervals so that in case of a break in the line, the trouble can be isolated. The problem of optimum spacing of the shut-off valves is solved with a computer using a linear programing method.
