HOW FLUIDICS CONTROL PIPELINE BOOSTER
Design and construction of a prototype fluidic control system for a pipeline booster station was carried out for Snam Progetti S.p.A. in collaboration with Pignone Sud S.p.A. The control problem, the fluidic elements used, and the operation are described. Over 1000 start-stop sequences were performed with no uncertainty, demonstrating the high reliability of the system.
