Electronic ticketing (e-Ticketing) is a market-ready digital innovation that automates the recording and transferring of information in real time for materials as they are moved from a plant or supplier yard to a construction site or storage facility. This document looks at the benefits of e-Ticketing, how five state departments of transportation are implementing e-Ticketing, and recommended steps toward implementation for interested agencies.
