COMPUTER CONTROLLED INTERLOCKING SYSTEM
A computer controlled interlocking system for railroad yards was developed in Sweden. The computer control means a considerable modernization of equipment compared with electrochemical technology. This modern interlocking system is already in operation in Sweden in the Gothenburg and Malmo areas. The authors describe the system for installations. The installations already in operation are outlined.
