Development of Single Tooth Pinion Gear to Achieve High Efficiency and High Speed Reduction (Second Report)
It is known that the tooth profile circular used in the reduction gear “single-tooth pinion gear” that achieves high efficiency and high speed reduction has a higher degree of influence on performance due to changes in the center distance than involute tooth profiles. In this paper, the authors verified the influence of the change in the center distance of the single-tooth pinion gear on the transmission efficiency. It was also confirmed that the influence of the change in the center distance on the transmission efficiency can be reduced by changing the tooth profile.
