Guide to road safety part 4: safe people
Guide to Road Safety Part 4: Safe People considers the human factors and behavioural considerations that impact safety outcomes on the road network. This updated edition compiles existing information on Safer People from the previous Austroads Guide to Road Safety parts and presents it in a logical restructure. The Guide presents information on groups of individuals that are at increased risk of injury on the road network. Known categories of road user errors are also presented. Components of the information processing procedure are discussed. The Guide is intended for road safety practitioners, as well as educators and interested members of public who can benefit from the information presented on road safety demographics, processes, and behaviours. It is designed to cater for a wide audience by providing discussions on topics that may be implemented or incorporated beneficially using a variety of activities.
