STRIDE Project A - Trip Routing Choices, Diversion Prediction, and Traffic Management with Decentralized Traveler Information Data [supporting dataset]
This research aims to fill the gap of knowledge surrounding navigation apps by analyzing the impact of traffic routing smartphone applications on roadway facility selection. Freeway detector data used to develop a direct method to estimate traffic diversion rate for individual incidents based on mainline detector data and incident data.
