Net Zero by 2050: A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector

This report maps out how net zero carbon dioxide emissions can be reached by the global energy sector by 2050. It begins with a look at emissions and energy use projections. Next, milestones are laid out with the goal of providing cost effective, inclusive, global steps to transition to clean energy. The plan relies on increasing energy efficiency, technological innovations, increasing reliance on solar and wind energy, electrification of vehicles, and citizen participation.
