Creating a More Equitable Transportation System through Diversity and Inclusion
This article presents the author's views on equity in transportation. He expresses observations from peers he engages with through the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). His perspectives on equity are also generated from working at Jacobs, a diverse global firm with more than 55,000 employees globally, providing professional services including consulting, technical, and scientific, and project delivery for the government and private sector.
