Resistance laws for uniform flow in tubes, based on the concept of asymptotic departure from basic expanential forms, allow a compliance of the equational form with the physical process. A basic transition function follow and this can be controlled to match the effect of differing roughness formations on transition routes. The approach to resistance can be summarized as stemming from the superimposition of the tqest data on the form of Blasius-Stanton resistance diagram which is generated from the Colebrook-White turbulent transition equation.
