IN AN OFFSHORE LIQUID CARGO HANDLING SYSTEM
In an offshore liquid cargo handling system including a buoy anchored offshore and connected by a flexible hose to the onshore storage facility and by a line to the ship, the remote section of the line has a secondary float-sink means which is coupled with a combined ballasting system and with a satellite hose attached to the section close to the buoy for supplying water to sink the entire line or compressed air to float it.
