AN APPARATUS FOR HANDLING A FLUID OFFSHORE
An apparatus for handling a fluid offshore comprises a fixed offshore structure supported from the bottom of a body of water and having an L-shape to define an area at the inner side of the L, a barge floating on the body of water and moored to the structure within the area, at least one riser supported by the structure and connected with a fluid below the water, and a conduit connecting the riser with the barge and including a means for accommodating motion of the barge relative to the structure.
