A MARINE PLATFORM FOR MOORING VESSELS
A marine platform for mooring vessels, e.g., oil tankers, comprises a stationary structure having one end driven into the sea-bed and the other projecting from the surface of the sea. A first platform carries a number of mooring bitts and a number of floats as well as valves and pumps for introducing and discharging sea water into the floats. A device prevents the transverse displacement of the platform while allowing free vertical displacement and rotation about a first fixed axis.
