STANDARDIZED HARDWARE FOR OIL SPILL CONTAINMENT BOOMS
The report describes the design, development, and testing of standardized hardware for use with existing and new Navy oil spill containment booms. This hardware which consists of boom connector, a towing assembly, and a boom-bulkhead attachment can be used to quickly interconnect and deploy oil booms of a wide variety of manufacturers. (Author)
