Managing Assets Beyond Pavements and Bridges - Case Study 7

This is one of seven case studies of practices in the 2019 transportation asset management plans. This case study highlights practices State departments of transportation (DOTs) deployed to manage assets in addition to pavements and bridges. Several State TAMPs included additional assets beyond pavements and bridges. Examples are cited from Minnesota, Connecticut, Utah, and California and include the management of culverts, tunnels, overhead sign structures, noise walls, traffic signals, sidewalks, highway buildings, and drainage assets.
