Multi-Jurisdictional Coordination for the Greater Texas Region FHWA Workshop; Houston, TX; March 28-29, 2018

This report reviews and highlights key content and outcomes of the Greater Texas Multi-Jurisdictional Coordination Workshop held on March 28-29, 2018 in Houston, Texas. The event was sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of Planning, Environment, & Realty (HEP) to examine shared regional issues of mutual concern to FHWA and transportation stakeholders in the Greater Texas Region (Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma). During the workshop, transportation officials and planning representatives from the four states explored ongoing research and collaboration, best practices, and opportunities to coordinate on freight planning and economic development.
