Bridge Deterioration and Preservation Model Refinement / Development

There is an urgent need to review and evaluate Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT's) National Bridge Inventory models for decks, superstructures, deck beam superstructures, substructures, and culverts for Illinois. The research will address this need and provide refinement to models for enhanced performance. Realistic deterioration models will enhance management of IDOT's bridge infrastructure assets.
