A Permeable Asphalt Pavement Decision Strategy Based on the Rainfall Characteristics in Guizhou, Southwest China

This paper introduces three typical structural forms of permeable asphalt pavement in detail and systematically analyzes the functional positioning and applicable scope of each typical permeable asphalt pavement structure. Twenty typical cities were selected for the analysis of urban rainstorm intensity in Guizhou Province and regional division according to the characteristics of urban rain patterns. By studying the peak rainfall intensity and total precipitation in typical cities, it is found that the characteristics of urban rainfall in Guizhou Province are generally “spindle-shaped”, that is, the intermediate ratio between the two is large and the proportion is small. The change of rainfall intensity and total rainfall near the peak of rain intensity for 30 min was selected as an important parameter to analyze the characteristics of urban rainstorm. According to the distribution of average rainfall intensity, the urban rain pattern in Guizhou Province was divided into four regions.
