Analysis of Passengers’ Pace Characteristics of Horizontal Passageway in Airport Landside APM System
This paper selects passengers of the horizontal passageway in the airport landside automatic people mover (APM) system as the research object, and studies the passenger’s pace characteristics of the horizontal passageway in the airport landside APM system and the impact of carrying different types of trolley case baggage on passenger’s pace. Through field surveys, the statistics of passengers carrying baggage are analyzed, and then the overall passenger’s pace characteristics in the passageway are analyzed, and the pace characteristics of passengers carrying different types of luggage are compared and analyzed. The conclusions of this paper cannot only provide a basis for the calculation of the passageway capacity, passageway design and optimization, and passenger flow organization in the landside APM system, but also enrich the researches on the factors affecting passenger’s pace, and provide basic parameters for passenger microscopic simulation and passenger flow evacuation modeling.
