The New Analysis Method for Non-linear Vehicle Dynamics
The authors propose a new analysis method for nonlinear vehicle dynamics. The proposed method enables not only vehicle motion analysis but also control system evaluation.in nonlinear region. Until now, it was necessary to simulate vehicle evaluations one by one. In the proposed method, comprehensive evaluation is possible, not limited to specific conditions. The analysis is performed by drawing contour lines of the state velocity on the state plane. The authors use yaw rate γ and rear slip angle αᵣ(= −βᵣ) as state variables.
