Driving Behavior Analysis for Leaning Forward Posture and Gaze Movement at a Blind Intersection by using Face Images with On-Board Cameras

In recent years, the number of traffic accidents caused by elderly drivers has been increasing. In order to develop a driver assistance system, it is necessary to analyze the driver’s driving behavior to extract unsafe driving behavior. In this paper, the authors propose a method that estimates face pose and leaning forward posture by using on-board camera images. The authors show the example of driving behavior analysis at a blind intersection.
