Citizen science reveals the mobility impact of Covid-19

Burgerwetenschap onthult de mobiliteitsimpact van Covid-19

In March of this year, local, regional and national governments across Europe and on almost all other continents had to take drastic measures to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus in order to minimize it. Those measures include the partial or complete closure of schools, businesses, shops, parks and public services. Another explicit measure was the ban on non-essential movements. These measures have had a major impact on mobility, especially in urban and urban agglomerations, since people have been forced to stay indoors.
