PROPOSED BTC COLD WEATHER TEST PROCEDURE FOR USE ON ROAD, TRACK AND VEHICLE DYNAMOMETER
The test procedure described is designed to evaluate the cold weather performance of vehicles and also to measure their response to changes in fuel volatility and ambient temperature. The procedure described may be used by a vehicle manufacturer to assess the performance of a vehicle according to a prevailing cold climate and locally available fuels. The procedure can also be used by a fuel manufacturer to assess volatility requirements for a particular market. (TRRL)
