MINIMUM GENERAL AVIATION AIRPORT AND AIRWAY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
This report forms a part (Volume V) of the Airport and Airway Costs and User Cost Responsibility Study for 1977-1986 time frame. Because the existing ATC system provides services far beyond the minimum requirements of the general aviation (GA) community, there appeared to be a need for providing a lower bound on the GA cost responsibility. The analysis presented here develops a hypothesized GA-only system based on ATC requirements of the GA user group (Including air taxi and business jets), and estimates the associated costs of the postulated system for the ten-year study period.
