LIGHTWEIGHT OIL CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, LOW TENSION BARRIER SYSTEM. PART I
The report presents the results of studies and tests of a low tension light weight oil containment system. The system is capable of deployment from an aircraft and deploys rapidly with a minimum of support equipment. The barrier design described uses an external tension shock absorbing bridle line to insure the barrier a high degree of high sea surface confirmability. (Author)
